the only one on here that’s actually good advice is replacing nonstick cookware (about) every five years. for most pans at average use, the lining starts to break down around then, and you do **not** want those little cancer flakes getting into your food
What level of disposable income is “getting rid of functional linens because Big Capitalism say they have a best before date”

I added a few items to my shop just in time for the holidays, including a couple of cutting boards. Everything is available for immediate shipping. If you’re looking for something handmade to give- consider one of these items. #woodworking #art tarynbuilds.com/collections/...

One of the most important skills in life is knowing what you don’t know. Some people call this critical thinking. You can call it whatever you want, but the main idea is that whatever knowledge you have, you must be aware that it is extremely incomplete.

Stop signing JSON.

JSON was never meant to be signed.

"I want to preserve map key order within a data model that explicitly disregards it" - canonicalization rules dreamed up by the utterly deranged.

the gradual replacement of “exchanging money for goods” with “exchanging money for a license to use goods as a service” has been one low key one of the worst changes of the 21st century
this is exactly why i still buy discs in 2023. it's crazy to think that we are reaching a point where piracy will be the only option to own media once dvds and blu-rays are gone.

Yes, there are bad, horrible, abusive things happening everywhere constantly. But if every time someone celebrates something good, you feel the need to remind them that many things are bad, you’re not actually fighting for a better world. You’re just being an asshole.
