The radioactive material that allows them to detect smoke has a half life. So no, they’re not nuts. Every sector has a replace by date on the underside. Even the hardwired ones.

Oh absolutely, if CBT works for you. Mixing my wife's Autistic brain with her particular flavour of ADHD makes CBT practically useless.

But that is in no way a discredit to CBT; it's a phenomenal tool!
