I want a whole series of tasks that are pretty normal but a total nightmare for someone with sensory issues (like me!)

“Crawl into a bed made with microfibre sheets”

“Wear a shirt without removing the tag on the side seam”

“Walk barefoot on an otherwise clean floor with small crumbs on it”
Hello! During our yearly fundraiser I pop balloons that have tasks inside of them. The tasks are, like “Pretend to be a crab, you have to do a good job” or “sing Smash Mouth’s All Star in a Terrible British Accent” or “Eat a banana filled with mayonnaise and pickles”.

PLEASE SUGGEST TASKS!!

t’s good to feed yourself with something tasty if you can.

For example, my favourite breakfast sandwich - you might even have everything in your house right now.

You’ll need:
• an egg
• butter
• mayo
• a good bun (or a cheap one!)
• Montreal Steak Spice
• my chipotle sauce base (recipe to follow)

I finally finished this Enterprise D LCARS cross stitch! Was supposed to take about a year, but longcovid had other plans for my brain and ability to count. So it's been over four years instead. It has a bazillion-jillion stitches in it.

For fans of Wicked: did the massive and never-ending press campaign and sequel and cable variety special (?) really hype you up? Or did it diminish the product?

I became less inclined to see it with every passing week of seeing it in the media, but I wasn’t a fan to begin with. Am I just a hater?

@magpie.tips Heads up - if you were even remotely tempted by this NA beer, it is by far the worst I have tasted. Thin and chemically.

Speaking of N95s, I think it was @lookitup.baby who brought this ridiculous woot deal on N95s to my attention. 440 individually wrapped N95s for $35! Holy crap! They're the 3M 9205+ Aura respirators. (I think the elastic is better on the 9210+ Auras but they go for 20 for $36.)

Japanese printmaker Koichi Sakamoto (b. 1932) is known for his detailed intaglio prints, specifically using the mezzotint etching technique.
His work often focuses on serene, snow-covered landscapes and traditional Japanese winter village scenes, characterized by a muted, monochromatic palette.

Also it would be frustrating and confusing to have your boss start sending an improv troupe to every meeting. Asking you to come up with 2-3 things the Troupe could help you do, meanwhile they are juggling staplers.

chatgpt is much like an improv comedy group

1) you are the audience, giving it prompts
2) it produces things roughly shaped like your prompt
3) it is trained to respond with Yes, And
4) it has the factual accuracy of improv
5) it does not understand comedy

Gemini’s latest ads say something to the effect of: “If a friend texts to ask for the phone number of someone in your contacts list, shouldn’t your phone be able to find before you do?”

Absolutely not.
