3 things I want to see for instant followback:
1) Your pronouns. Indicates you respect the pronouns of others.
2) Masks. I want to see that you give a shit about not spreading an ongoing pandemic and thus TRULY care about intersectional values.
3) ALT tags. You can set an autonag for it. No excuses.

I wrote up my analysis of what Ross's movements and actions reveal about whether or not he had a "reasonable belief that he was in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury" (the legal standard). I list 7 crucial moments that suggest he did not. asharangappa.substack.com/p/friday-rou...

I love it when you visit me but would prefer you not to have to do so for preventable medical reasons. Put on your sweater or sunscreen, hydrate, take your meds, mask up, condoms on, make safe choices. 🖤💙😷🥄

"Anyone can do anything if they try hard enough" statements are ableist. If you challenge those who say such things, they'll reply, "I didn't mean disabled people." They are excluding disabled people from "anyone" from the start. That's ableism. 🖤💙😷🥄

One of the best things we can do for the medical needs of any vulnerable group is work towards fixing the things in our society that make them vulnerable in the first place. Good medicine needs to include systemic change and vice versa. 🖤💙😷🥄

Tolerance for others is not the same as being their willing door mat. You are not required to silence your own needs as part of recognising and respecting someone else's.

If you're disabled and/or chronically ill, stop using "tips and tricks" from health-privileged ableds to chastise yourself. Your body works differently and you're allowed to find your own ways of doing what you need to do within your own parameters. 🖤💙😷🥄

This is my favorite headcanon and it's a great example of how readers can offer a different reading of a text that the author never considered and did not intend, but is nonetheless validated by the text itself.
A shitpost so great Billy Joel actually heard about it
