Revolution because voting got here. Only in overthrowing the government system. I am a socialist. I support communism.

So what if this whole governance of humans by human systems based on worth and wealth is the thing that is creating the human condition, and we think thats "natural" and "normal" when no other species on the planet does it like this nor survives it?

Representatives in their last leg, that we know are retiring always wind up being the most dangerous votes on shit.

Reckless, feckless bastards.

As long as we had hope for our leaders, we didn't need to become leaders ourselves. Now that the illusion of The People's Government has been demolished, we can begin to build again for the people.
This shit is why people don’t trust the Democratic Party.

Any deal that counts on GOP being good faith partners in governance misunderstands the modern Republican Party. Idiotic and out of touch!

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

Anyway if you’re like me it’s a good night to cancel a bunch of recurring Democratic monthly donations and increase my monthly recurring donation to @runforsomething.net

just to clarify (and kevin knows this so don’t @ him) call no matter who your senators are. the caucus will pay attention to backlash
Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
