They shouldn't make Cookie Monster do all these healthy eating segments on Sesame Street. It's against his nature and you can see in his eyes that he doesn't like it.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

The Rosetta Stone here is there's nothing to understand. It's a regime run by a terrifyingly stupid narcissistic rapist who's rapidly losing control of his faculties, & that just results in omnidirectional aggression.
I don't understand the schizophrenia of this administration, trying to destroy NATO and force Ukrainian surrender for Russia's benefit, but then also antagonizing its client states, shipping, and purportedly demanding Greenland to build a bulwark against it in the Arctic.
The U.S. is preparing for a potential interception of the oil tanker Marinera (formerly Bella 1), now sailing under the Russian flag. The vessel was previously sanctioned for carrying Iranian oil. Moscow has formally demanded Washington halt any seizure attempts. The mission could occur this week.

I do not agree with the statement that we aren't seeing mass mobilization in the US against Trump's actions in Venezuela.

There is mass mobilization in every city where ICE and CBP are operating. Do not confuse mobilization with marching and protests. Not everything is designed for spectacle.

Walz: "We've got conspiracy theorists, right-wing YouTubers, breaking into our daycares, demanding access to our children. We've got the president demonizing our Somali neighbors and wrongfully confiscating funds that Minnesotans rely on. It's disgusting and it's dangerous."

Stop saying that all Schumer and Jeffries ever do is write strongly worded letters. Bullshit. They're not strongly worded at all.

For the evening crowd: do not enlist in the American military if you need money for a Dodge. Sell hole pictures on the internet instead. You hurt fewer people and make more money with less chronic pain. That is all.
Please tell anyone who’s thinking of enlisting in the American military that the strip club is a more respectable option.

@skelekate.bsky.social My name is Layan. Last night my little brother cried from the cold, and I had nothing, no blanket, no roof, not even arms warm enough to protect him. Our tent is falling apart. Please help us survive this winter.

Im seeing discussions about consultations with congress, authorizations of force etc. I have to say this transcends any of what I would call sub constitutional technicalities. The president has gone to war with a foreign power and, it seems, kidnapped a foreign head of state on the basis of nothing.

Before Zionism became the dominant intra-community debate, this was the original Jewish civil war. Its epicenter in the US was NY (as well as Chicago and in some culturally significant ways Hollywood). It was largely driven by class divisions between and within different immigrant waves.

Most of the derangement about Mamdani is for the obvious reasons but part of it is also that a surprising amount of people were committed to the Cuomo rehabilitation project because they hated the idea that anything could have consequences for men of the right class.
