I was chatting with a friend this morning about just how treacherous and slippery leaves can be. It's one of those things most people don't understand unless they are biking, using a wheelchair, etc.
I have written a lot about the perils of poorly maintained (and leaf-filled) bike lanes. That didn’t stop me from wiping out in one just now, falling on my face and scraping up my knee pretty badly. This is a truly hazardous situation, @pbotinfo.bsky.social. When are you going to do something?

noa and I were once talking and asked me when I wanted to get married and I very unromantically said when one of us needs the others health insurance
I know probably a half dozen people (maybe more) who got married for health insurance. I cannot tell you how fucked up that is when you think about it for more than 10 seconds.
