I've told this story on ContrabandCamp but it's worth sharing for BHM because it's one of the greatest stories ever.

A thread.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

1. This 2016 exchange between Jeffrey Epstein and Peter Thiel is so essential, really gets to the heart of Epstein's project.
Epstein: brexit, just the beginning.
Thiel: Of what?
Epstein: return to tribalism... finding things on their way to collapse , was much easier than finding the next bargain

ABOLISH LEGAL GENDER ENTIRELY

We can still have social gender but legal gender only serves to enable discrimination and should be done away with like we did away with legal race for the same reason.
NO GENDER MARKERS ON GOVERNMENT ID, NOW
An extreme Kansas bill will invalidate the drivers license of every trans person in the state. It was passed alongside a particularly extreme bathroom bill, meaning that the implications of every trans Kansan losing legal ID overnight has largely been missed.

ME IN 1996: lol, seriously? the plot here is that most obvious suspect was indeed doing the crimes, in a worthlessly bad disguise, and the only people who noticed were queer nerds, a stoner burnout, and a dog? great show, love that theme song, but like. come on

I know for me – and I'm pretty sure for a lot of people – the number one project right now is focusing my incandescent rage at the right parties, not the merely convenient parties, who tend to be the parties in arms reach because they're marching shoulder to shoulder with me.
It's actually a good thing that previously apolitical normies are finally getting angry and starting to speak out. We need the numbers in the streets and at the polls.

If your response to them is "no, fuck you, too late," then you don't actually care about stopping Trump. You're just preening.

I can still recall all the tut-tutting from the media when Harris made this argument.
Kamala Harris at her closing campaign rally:

"Donald Trump intends to use the United States Military against American citizens who simply disagree with him."

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

This is a video I think every American could benefit from hearing. A perspective on US politics from a German citizen, who previously lived here before fleeing due to concerns over our slide into fascism. Our political system is captured. We stand at a cross roads, under a new age of technology.

everyone i know in minneapolis is seeing ICE take people—at gas stations, taquerias, bus stops, schools. just snatching random people.

First of all, a whole lot of you have already forgotten that last July, one of the things released from the Epstein files was a birthday card Bill Clinton sent Jeffrey Epstein.

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.
