Quite an interesting article on football.
VAR doesn't affect Shrewsbury very often but I've suggested either scrapping it or using numbered challenges.
The penalties idea is good too.
What do you think?

Reinventing Football: Which laws should change? Handball? Offside? Penalties?
Imagine if you could make one change to football. We've asked players, pundits and referees what they would do.

So much is code. The Right want to destroy the BBC because they can’t stand even a tiny licence fee level of tax or people getting a service for basically free. The Tories salami-sliced the funding over years so they could cause collapse without getting the blame for Strictly going off the air.

Did u know? This is one of the most important organisms on earth - moss. It's amazing what it does to maintain healthy ecosystems. It minimises soil erosion; captures carbon; harbours tiny souls in its unique habitat & filters & purifies water & air in its dense structure - make room for moss. 🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍🦠

Of all the things that Davie in particular *should* have resigned (or been booted out) over, he goes over something inept but hardly earthshaking
So now the BBC, already weakened by attacks from self-serving haters of public media, is even more rudderless, just when we need it most

This is absolutely nuts
Trump did incite the January 6 riot. Splicing a video to make that point is shoddy editorial but hardly a resignation event
When BBC is needed more than ever, Telegraph/Boris Johnson running the show

@danidarkskies.bsky.social is there a group that works across the UK that can help protect dark skies and recognise dark sky status? Our village has no street lighting and I'm hopeful to suggest to the parish council that we'd like to keep it that way. The majority of locals are for this too

My company food allowance is £50 per day. Realised I can buy a couple of homeless people a sizeable meal whenever I travel and consume fewer calories at the same time. Makes me feel great and have had some great chats with real people. Do it if you can.
