Totally fair imo, if I wrote scrips every day for an effective & reliable medication that suddenly became a laughingstock due to rampant misuse by fucking idiots, I'd be fairly pissed. I expect that'd get tired pretty fast.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, one of the 3(?) afflictions properly treated w hydroxychloroquine and when my rheumatologist was explaining my proposed drug regimen to me I missed part of it because I was so amused. Hee hee!

My family's name changed about 300 years ago when Germany annexed a chunk o' land from Denmark and made everyone German-ify their names so they'd fit in w their new countrymen. The annexation only lasted a few generations, but here I am now with a German ass name for no reason. 🤷🏻♀️

Even for the 'patriotic' sports fans, my dad pointed out during a debate about cheering for the Canadian or US team (NHL not Olympics) that there was the same small sprinkling of Canadians on either team and then mostly Scandinavian & eastern European players on both sides anyway so who gives a shit
