Our Parliament needs more Nate Erskine-Smiths, not more message control - Loonie Politics
The simple fact is that we need more MPs like Erskine-Smith in our parliament, not fewer.

Its the US forces. When not killing each in friendly fire they are not exactly renowned for following the conventions of war. And its not as if they have turned around and told Kegsbreath to get fucked when blowing random fishing boats out of the water. I'd expect them to just salute and say "Fire".

The amount of people I see harassing real artists and even wildlife photographers with accusations of AI is genuinely disheartening, and sadly this is just the beginning

This is a phenomenon that has long fascinated me. For a significant portion of the American population, BEING racist is a much more acceptable position than being CALLED racist.
It’s funny that even now, with everything we know, there’s still a retreat towards treating racism as somehow uniquely unbelievable.

I understand why some white liberals from the Deep South want to insist that there isn't something distinct (and bad) about Southern political culture but the problem with this is that we wouldn't even have this idea of "The South" as distinct from the rest of the US if there wasn't a there there

Small town, so word got around fast. My mom found out the locals were planning on burning a cross in her yard because they thought she was black.
