If spirituality wasn’t central to liberation colonial forces wouldn’t have worked as hard to stamp out traditional practices in favor of the fundamentalist Abrahamic religion/dogmatic secularism dichotomy

Something you can do to ground yourself in these times is reclaim a spiritual practice. Many folks who want a better world see the harms cause by the dominant religious systems and (understandably) have decided to eschew the entire thing. I believe that's a mistake.
