Care to apologise to Tamatha Paul for your public belittling of her when she dared to suggest some people may not trust the police?

I expected a more considered response from you. Instead you were all in on the side of the police. Shameful.

This is utterly sickening, particularly the charges under HDCA. Many, many things from the 2021-2023 period of my life in terms of police (in)action related to threats made to me now must be viewed thru this unholy prism.

Why is Chris Bishop sending people speeding into a 'death trap'. When the Ōtaki to Levin highway was 100kmh many died; after the Ardern Govt reduced it to 80kmh no-one died, when Luxon Govt increased it back to 100kmh, the dying restarted. www.greenpeace.org/aotearoa/sto...

An awful, awful example of what happens when you use AI scribe systems in healthcare without any meaningful form of redress for their erroneous output.

Setting a "compliance" policy that doesn't allow clinical staff to change AI generated fields without intervention is definitely a money decision.
a few months ago I said "having generative AI handle absolutely anything with regards to healthcare is a nightmare and should be banned" and a bunch of people made fun of me and called me stupid. anyways,

People might have more sympathy for a govt grappling with the potentially huge costs of climate change if the same govt had not just eviscerated our previously agreed climate change response goals in the name of not upsetting its farming support bloc. Personal responsibility indeed.

Hey I don't talk about this but my background is in healthcare. I used to spend two to three hours every day trying to fight medical disinfo during the pandemic because healthcare is inaccessible and people didn't know what to believe.

Dr. Howard is one of the few that consistently got it right.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
