That $2.7bn levy/tax will, maybe eventually, reduce the price of electricity from astronomical to outrageous, whilst still destroying the environment and increasing your insurance costs, food costs etc etc

Just so we're all totally clear here. Everyone has to pay more because this government scrapped projects for electrification, ignored advice from the sector on transitioning off gas, and wants to build a terminal that is unlikely to be usable for $1 billion plus - money they said we didn't have.

They were actually expecting him to burn flags while having abortions performed live on stage weren't they
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

Given all the really important shit that this government says we "can't afford" it's amazing what they manage to find money for.

It gets worse. While (a few) households save up the megabucks, Government does the same! The NZ Govt is not in debt according to any sensible measure. So, Govt and wealthy households stack up savings while our infra falls apart, kids go hungry, teeth go rotten, etc. Make it make sense. [2/n]
