This is a ridiculous thing to say, mostly because I feel like agency law has turned into lol whatever John Roberts wants, but I think that using AI to draft regulations is the definition of arbitrary and capricious.

This is a ridiculous thing to say, mostly because I feel like agency law has turned into lol whatever John Roberts wants, but I think that using AI to draft regulations is the definition of arbitrary and capricious.

This otherwise excellent article skips a key point: why is Trump's DoT in such a hurry to make new regulations that they want to use low-quality AI for speed?
The answer is almost certainly: this isn't about new regulations. It's about rewriting the existing regulations that keep us safe.

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.”

For God’s sake, ICE is arresting refugees with legal status in Minneapolis, flying them to Texas, and releasing them in the middle of nowhere with no way to get home. This is sickening.
