Another election update: progressive candidates Shilpa Prem and Jay Arnold have TAKEN THE LEAD in their races for the Kirkland City Council after previously being behind. So much for that reactionary anti-growth backlash in Kirkland.

There's been a lot of comparison in Portland between Phil and Rob. I think that it's pretty valid. They have a lot of commonalities. But now, the thorns are one of the final 4 teams in NWSL, pretty well positioned for a good fight for another cup, and the timbers are done until next year.
