Upon further consideration, I'd say there's like a 30% chance the GOP found a spine because the only thing keeping the MAGA coalition from crawling back into the sewer might not even get the opportunity to watch the Stranger Things finale.
So yes, this pic (and the enlargement) was taken today.

Yikes!

Very real chance that Congressional Republicans have been getting apocalyptic polling numbers coming in over the last several weeks and a number of them were spooked enough to break the GOP out of its blood oath with Trump. MTG really was the canary in the coalmine.
There are now bipartisan investigations in both the House and Senate into the administration targeting and killing people in the Caribbean without due process.

Watching big parts of the online left react to Ukraine with, at best, shrugging and going "not my problem" was a pretty massive blackpill event ngl

These idiots are going to end up shooting down a civilian airliner with this vague nonsense. What does "around Venezuela" even mean? How far around it? Should flights in eastern Colombia be suspended? To Bogata? This is stupid, reckless, incredibly dangerous, and illegal.
I guess we’re just shouting NOTAMS into the void on truth social now

It needs to be explicitly laid out that the initial strike itself constituted an act of murder. We had no legal justification to blow up a random boat in international waters. They were both inhumane, illegal acts, and those who carried it and similar strikes out should be tried all the same.
Harvard Law School’s Jack Goldsmith:

“In short, if the Post’s facts are correct, it appears that Special Operations Forces committed murder when the ‘two men were blown apart in the water, as the Post put it.’”

Congressional Republicans smell blood in the water. Trump is cooked as far as I'm concerned. Only question is how far the GOP is willing to go to constrain him.

The Trump coalition is on life support because:

1.) Epstein
2.) MTG proved the Emperor has no clothes

At this point it should be a universally accepted fact in Washington that Trump is a bitch who will cave on contact.
A top Republican in Indiana, whose daughter has Down Syndrome, just announced he will be voting to block Trump’s gerrymandering after Trump used the R-word to insult people yesterday.

Ordering no quarter, as Hegseth effectively did, isn't a newfangled modern war crime. It was understood as a crime as far back as the Revolutionary War. Washington threatened to do reprisals over it. The bad guy in 'The Patriot' is (very loosely) based off a British officer who was notorious for it.

"Peace with freedom is the highest aspiration of the American people. We negotiate for peace. We sacrifice for it. We will never surrender for it."

Trump insists you surrender for peace at the expense of freedom. This is an inherently un-American proposal, and it should be treated with acidic rage.

This is treason against everything America was founded on. Plain and simple, the president is a traitor.

The next Democratic president needs to commit to holding everyone in this administration accountable and to turning every piece of Russian military equipment on the planet into a smoldering pile of molten scrap. I'm sick of these fucks getting away with bullying innocent, vulnerable people.

We've all spent a lot of time trying to understand what Trump's appeal to many people is, but I think the simplest—and most likely—explanation is that he's a selfish piece of shit, and that trait appeals to the average person because it's transparent and relateable for them. Maybe people just suck.
Q: Do you plan to attend Sarah's funeral?

TRUMP: I haven't thought about it yet, but it's certainly something I can conceive of. I love West Virginia. You know, I won West Virginia by one of the biggest margins of any president anywhere.

Honestly, they might as well be actual lizard people at this point. Who is such a freak that they don't stop and think, "hey, we need plates to eat all this food on"?

Worst part is that 2-3 dozen people probably saw this before it got posted and none of them were normal enough to point it out.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner where nobody has a plate in front of them, one person doesn't even have a seat, somebody starts the meal with a slice of pie they appear to have brought with them & somebody is demolishing a massive dish of stuffing presumably flavoured with roadkill. On a plane.

Information operations on Russian civilians should have been happening from the start. As far as state action is concerned, that's some of the most bare minimum, low effort shit you can do. Hell, me and a couple buddies were doing troll farming on Russian social media within 2 weeks of Feb. 24th.
Following a series of Russian provocations the EU is discussing possible countermeasures such as cyberattacks on key Russian infrastructure, sudden NATO exercises near Russia’s borders, and information operations aimed at Russian citizens.

The US economy has held up well in spite of Trump's best efforts to destroy it, but I do think that we are much closer to a partial collapse that could spiral than most people are willing to admit/put their name to. There's just too much happening all at once, and eventually the bottom will fall out
November 26, 2025 at 10:54 AM
MAGA diplomacy is such a joke that we got Don fucking Bacon out here doing the wine mom "would a paid Russian agent act any differently" bit. GOP foreign policy is cooked for centuries at this point.

The Trump administration is such a disgraceful mess that we now have senior diplomats coaching representatives of nations that are openly hostile to American interests on how to best manipulate our president into giving them a sweetheart deal. These assholes don't give a fuck about America.
This is really wild stuff tbh

"A reversal would risk recession. We can't afford to go backwards."

Brother, the only thing you're getting from the US government is a lumpy bed in a federal fucking prison.
One explanation for economic populism in the US is the recurring cycle of bubbles and bailouts that happens without any democratic input
