I guess one advantage on the cape, since it's ALIVE, you get a lot of freedom drawing it. Changing size between panels, holes don't line up? Yeah, it shifted and morphed, that's what it does. We painted it green one panel, oh, must have been reacting to something.

On some level, I might re-read, there were a lot of hands that went in to making those comics. But those are some gross handprints he left on the work.

That was a rough one, went from wondering if I should re buy the Crecy I want getting back to "eh".
But I think Gaiman was rougher, with more shelf space. My wife had bought me Absolute Sandman over the years and I haven't opened one since.

You could describe it as a flaw in Tolkiens writing that all the evil people are stupid assholes who just want to stab each other in the back and have no plans other than general evil, but it turns out that’s exactly what evil people are like, he got it completely correct.

There's certainly a drop off after Stern as ideas that Stern got fired for rejecting are implemented. You get a John Byrne run, which is fine (he's not destroying the Vision on this coast). Then get into Fabian Nicieza who writes a nifty 6 parter with the Soviet Supers and Alpha Flight.

Yet again, the power meter is a neat idea but falls apart if you think about it for more than a second. Raising the dead should carry a bigger cost (and I think does later on). And Curse gets the drop on him because his suit is in a weakened state- surely we've seen bigger power drains.

The bit about "if I could make money" never rang true to me. Beyond his power set being so nebulous that it seems like he can do anything, we've seen him manifest booze, even using the suit's energy. Seems like, even if not cash, manifest some diamonds or doubloons or something.
