It's probably because I was raised in the South(ern portion of the US), but pronouncing the G at the end of words, especially when singing, sounds weird to me.

I started reading Kinikuman Nisei (AKA Ultimate Muscle), and I find it darkly funny that it's like:
1: Let's send a bunch of suspiciously swole teenage boys to this death camp for training against the evil aliens on Earth!

I went to Istanbul, and its such a shame if a beautiful city could lose the small but well kept queer community it has. I felt so at home all over that city, and no one, not a one, misgendered me. Even though I was boy moding hard /because/ of the queerphobia I'd heard. Support Turkish oomfs

Well, I've now heard Moby Dick. If I wasn't interested in 19th century whaling, then I wouldn't have continued it for much long, but even then I may have preferred an abridged version; I found myself repeatedly saying "Get to the point."
Enjoyed it some, but I don't recommend it tbh.
