Two things are simultaneously true:

1. You're right to be upset at the idea that COVID vaccines may become unavailable or severely restricted.

2. Vaccines reduce risk of hospitalization, but do not reduce the risk of infection or long COVID as much as you think they do. Wear a mask.

If it wasn't for Hannah Krieg's work, I'd still be going "wonder what ended up happening at that protest I couldn't go to" while my community members disappear, mostly without mainstream media acknowledgement. Don't be a "but we had no idea what was going on in the camps" person if you can help it.

Ballal's whereabouts are now unknown.

And he says, 'I'm going to go and protest.' We would have never let him into the country. Martin: Is protesting a deportable offense? Edgar: You're focused on protests. I'm focused on the visa process. He went through a legal process ... Martin: Are you saying he lied on his application? He's a lawful permanent resident, married to an American citizen. Edgar: I think if he would have declared he's a terrorist, we would have never let him in. Martin: And what did he engage in that constitutes terrorist activity?
