This is one hell of a hard nosed bullshit free article by the NYT. It feels like an editor slipped in the word anomalies, but other than that it’s tough & honest, & how news outlets should write about Trump & his racist administration.

This is the most racist thing you've seen out of this White House so far

100 percent this.

What's going on inside is a "you" problem. All I've got to go on is what I see.
I think one thing white people tie ourselves in knots over about racism is what someone “feels in their heart” or whatever. And that just … doesn’t really matter? It’s the behavior that matters.

The Wright Museums Instagram page is HILARIOUS. Think The Office but it's the staff at a Museum for Black History. Better believe this is on my list of places to visit.

If you gave someone $1,000 a day since Jesus walked the earth, they'd have just under $750 million.

There are more than 900 billionaires in the US alone.
again we do not really do a good job of explaining how wealthy people like Jeff Bezos are

his net worth is $253.2 billion.
so he could take one million dollars, and just light it on fire
and then do it again tomorrow
and again the day after that
and then do it every day for 693 years and 8 months

I've been wondering this myself, actually.

I saw an Instagram account that was clearly AI once I thought to look for it, but it still had basically the same recognizable "person" in each photo/video.
Though I do wonder about the impact of non-replicability on the artist trying to use genAI as a tool to make art. Learning to write well, one has the advantage that every time you write 'confabulate' it comes out 'confabulate,' but the same prompt can get different outputs from genAI.
