I think I took the show seriously for far too long. The OKC bombing parallel in s3 threw me for a loop. Then I couldn’t get past the opening s4 montage that suggested having a gay Republican president in the early 90s would have cured this country (this country! in the early 90s!) of homophobia.

this show has shot a pregnant woman into space strapped to the side of a rocket, put AK-47s on the moon, and featured multiple scenes of people thugging it out with no helmets in the vacuum of space

Remains to be seen if YTTV is doing actual customized multi-view or is just throwing enough resources at the problem to brute force it server-side, but I'm optimistic.
