Well-meaning negotiators on both sides of the aisle could likely agree to tweaks to ACA premium tax credits. But, trying to upend the structure during open enrollment with out-of-pocket premiums poised to more than double is like trying to retrofit a plane mid flight.

The more embedded crypto becomes in other financial products and the more leverage is applied, a little trip in crypto prices can create tremendous fallout in the broader financial system

The sheer number of people Trump pardoned — 1,500+ — and the magnitude of violence many (most?) of them committed means it is statistically likely that a fair number will be revidivists, potentially for more egregious crimes. The pardons should be a top story EVERY DAY

It was always a lie that the focus would be deporting the worst of the worst. To get Dreamer/DACA status basically meant you were a Girl Scout or Boy Scout. And it's silly because many of these people got educated here since 2012 and now we're losing that talent and skill. 🤷🏾‍♀️
Dreamers were once obvious candidates for a path to citizenship. Now, they’re getting picked up, detained, and set for potential deportation.
Then they came for the Dreamers
Immigrants brought here as children were told they wouldn’t be deported. Now, they’re being targeted anyway.

This week, President Trump pardoned allies accused of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. It is part of an uptick in "insider pardons" issued in his second term, one legal expert says.
