Written by the father of a trans girl…

“When society tries to police and exclude trans girls, it ends up policing all girls.

Because transmisogyny does not just say, “Trans girls aren’t real girls.” It also says, “There is only one correct way to be a girl.””
Why the War on Trans Girls Is a War on Girlhood
Excluding trans girls is controlling who can be girls, and who can't, further dividing children and causing harm

This is unfortunately true which makes me incredibly sad and incredibly angry, what is wrong with this country?
Unless your crime is against a trans person when the consequences are beatification on the front pages of the national media and The BBC joining by using abusive slurs against the trans person.
Oh and there is the good chance you could arrange for the trans person to be sexually abused by the BTP.

Going through a box of old family photos and I found this. It leads me to two conclusions.
1. I possibly had a trans relative from over 100yrs ago. All strength to her.
2. The bigots would abuse this lady if they saw her in the toilets because they are anti-feminist and in fact can’t always tell!

Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the transgender lives lost to violence.

The Green Party stands shoulder to shoulder with transgender people in the face of increasing transphobic rhetoric in our society and politics.

🕯 Today we pause to remember the trans people whose lives were taken by violence this year. Those lost to hatred, and those lost to the unbearable weight of living in a world that too often refuses to see their worth.

We hold every name and every story in our hearts.

Did you know that many trans people fleeing persecution in the UK come from countries where transphobic attitudes were instilled by colonialism?

A reminder that this anti-trans panic is 100% bullshit and exactly none of our country’s problems are related to someone expressing their gender identity and everyone who isn’t a hate-filled weirdo knows it.

🏳️‍⚧️ It’s Trans Awareness Month. This is a time to listen, learn, and lift up trans voices.

Trans people face growing barriers to healthcare, legal recognition & safety. Their stories are told about them, not with them. Media headlines debate their existence, politicians use their lives to win points

Over 2.7 million have signed this, nearly 10% the number of people that voted in the last general election but the government’s only response is to basically say “We are doing this, tough” Yet things the promised to do in order to get elected were cast aside.

It really is just relentless the constant dehumanisation in this country. Prove you deserve to be here. Prove you deserve to be cared for. Prove your gender. Prove you deserve to have human rights. Prove you deserve to stay after a whole decade. It just chisels away at your humanity
Just fuck off with this. How about start the conversation by highlighting how much immigrants contribute to the UK - not least by propping up the NHS and social care system!

Also - forced volunteering is not volunteering, it's unpaid labour.

Did you know that children's digital ID is being quietly introduced via the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill? Every child is to have a unique number so they can share all information between different government organisations without permission. bit.ly/No2ChildrensID

I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.

I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.

Ok. They’ve pissed me off.

I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards:

1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

I first saw and shared this about an hour ago when the total was about 550k. It’s now over 630k. That’s a huge increase in such a short time. You can sit and watch the number of people telling the government to fuck off rising by hundreds every minute.
One of the unexpected things I've learned from my advocacy for trans people is how malignant parts of the State can be, how it can misuse data for positively evil purposes. It's taught me people can't be safe with a digital ID card and so I've signed this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...

They're going to spend billions they tell us they don't have to help the vulnerable for a system to electronically tag us all, that won't even work very well, in an attempt, that will fail anyway, to appease the most racist among us. I have nothing but absolute disgust and contempt for Labour.
