If you're not trans, please take a couple of minutes to skim through the linked blog post.

It's an overview of (some of) the questions trans kids and their parents will have to through, just to participate in the NHS puberty blocker trial.

I won't make any further comment here.

The only truly irreversible thing a trans child is likely to do is take their own life. "What if they do something irreversible?" actually means "theyre not allowed to make a decision!"

You cant undo or reverse any decision you make, you can simply change your mind later and handle the consequences

Trans people: yeah this happened to me, too

Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

To reiterate, this is about making life immeasurably more miserable and stressful for some of the most vulnerable people, in the almost certainly vain hope of winning over the votes of racists.

Anything more shabby and shameful is difficult to envisage.

Anyone want to tell the EHRC's KC that this is exactly how things have worked for decades with almost no issues or incidents until the recent spate of attempts by gender critical to harass their trans coworkers?
14/ He then discussed the trans-inclusive policy options an employer might pursue if the claimants are correct that the employer can decide. He says that “self-declaration” is not feasible. Using lived gender would also create real difficulties in practice as there are no objective criteria.

Labour's permanent ban on puberty blockers for trans children is costing lives. It has nothing to do with "protecting children". They cannot claim to care about children's welfare while supporting a ban which has been shown, repeatedly, to cause them more harm.

True remembrance lies in the actions we take to prevent all further wars.

With this global push towards rearmament, with relentless profits for arms companies, it's hard to feel any lessons have been learnt from those two awful wars.

It is only through peacemaking we can honour their sacrifice.

🚨 The Government has announced plans to emulate Denmark's harsh asylum system - widely recognised for its cruel and harmful approach.

For some Danish politicians, the openly stated goal is 'zero asylum-seekers'.

This should alarm us all.

The vast majority of the comments on SM posts and online articles are hideous, uninformed bigotry (and almost certainly not from the cycling community).

But some of the award nominees are declining to be included, and they’re speaking out.

Saw a news report yesterday about children as young as 9 being given weight loss jabs on the NHS, and I think it shows just how utterly bullshit the “lack of research into long term impacts” excuse for banning puberty blockers for trans kids really was. It’s purely ideological.
