As iconic as Sonic’s shoes are I feel like it’s kind of a missed opportunity to not have them be like Spidey’s suits where they keep doing new ones and we end up with this huge list of favs and stinkers. Would’ve been fun if they kept iterating like the SOAPs.

Checking the weather report again and it really seems like it’s not gonna be that bad, at least where I’m at. The lows aren’t even gonna go down enough for the rain to freeze long term, if the prediction holds.

Carbon monoxide deaths spike during power outages. Many times, this is due to portable generators being placed too close to people's homes or run indoors. Make sure you have working carbon monoxide alarms. Run your generator outdoors, at least 20ft away from your home.

When I watched Mr. Rogers, I didn’t understand that the things he did that were overtly political, like sharing a dip in the “pool” with a black man, were actually political, because he framed them as basic decency and I was 5 and by the time I saw that rerun it was normal because decency won.

Film studios were prohibited from owning theater chains. TV networks were prohibited from owning production companies. There used to be restrictions on single party ownership of different broadcast stations.
