I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I don't know if you're a bot with 2 followers and 450 posts, but if you are actually a student journalist you should be wary of load-bearing quotation marks that insinuate he was wrong when he is, in fact, correct. Closest Walmart to Minneapolis is Roseville.

Really focus your attention on Minneapolis. This is what they want in every metro in America. If we can’t hand them a humiliating defeat now, your town will be in line. The stakes could not be any higher but my city is standing defiantly in the face of fascism. I’m so fucking proud.

The injunction certainly won’t make anything worse, but I’m just saying without explicitly defining the line between protest and obstruction, it’s still at the discretion of ICE to determine what that is. Anyone who’s been here in the last week knows that includes saying mean things and driving.
