1. Don't snitch-tag.
2. Don't explain to people what they just said.
3. Don't "correct" people's jokes.
4. Don't respond seriously to silly little posts.
5. Don't respond trivially to obviously serious posts.
6. Don't "jocularly insult" people you don't know.

The rest is commentary.
People should have to pass a social media etiquette class before they’re allowed to purchase a smart phone.

I think the president's plan of telling voters that the prices at the grocery store have not, in fact, gone up on his watch is brilliant.

How could any consumer possibly notice what they're spending?
Trump: "Everything has come down. Do you notice that don't notice affordability anymore? That's like an old fashioned word."

Hey Border Czar Tom “Cava” Homan at @icegov.bsky.social:

You know my name. You know where I live because your agents tailed me home twice. I spent 5 hours today following them and will spend 5 hours tomorrow. Come put me on TV so I can tell the whole world what I’ve seen you do to my neighbors.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

Some thoughts:

1. The deadline for nominating a person or group for the Nobel Peace Prize is Feb. 1.

2. History professors are qualified nominators.

3. The people of Minnesota have been awe-inspiringly peaceful in the face of state violence.

4. He would be so mad.

It doesn't take courage to hang with a bunch of jacked up dudes, all armed with weapons and well armored against civilian protests.

It takes courage to stand against them.

That's what Alex Pretti did. That's what Renee Nicole Good did.

That's what thousands in Minneapolis are doing every day.
CNN reporting that a week before Alex Pretti was killed, 5 agents tackled him and he suffered a broken rib. CNN says he stopped his car after he saw ICE agents interacting with a family on foot and began to blow his whistle. Source tells CNN Pretti believed “That day he thought he was going to die”

The truth is mundane. No one is breaking the law. We have trained ourselves to observe and deescalate, not obstruct. We are not agitators, we are here to protect our neighbors. There is no harm in revealing this, especially about Alex, who is now beyond their evil reach. It honors his memory.
