Today I've written to Bridget Phillipson to ask for clarity on how the government will ensure trans people's rights in the wake of the recent Supreme Court ruling and EHRC guidance. At a moment of extreme worry and distress for the trans community, govt must step up and give assurances.

This petition is well intentioned but I'm done with gender recognition we need abolition now.
No more legal sex. The only reforms we should accept should be steps towards dismantling the violence embedded in sex segregation.

To get one thing straight, as I think will be coming clear to people in the UK this morning, that Supreme court decision doesn't just disadvantage women who are trans, it also disadvantages *all* women. We can now be questioned as to our gender, wherever, by whoever. Probably in whatever way.

I was 18 when the Tories got in in 2010, since then I have been solely reliant on the punitive and dehumanising benefits system for income, and had naively hoped a Labour govt would make things easier for disabled people. But nope, not just more of the same - worse.

Went to a local art/craft market today, admired some linoprints and ceramics at a stall and got chatting to the artist, we exchanged business cards and she realized she already followed me, and got all excited to meet me irl! Said how much she loved my work!

Super pleased with how these frivolous foppish shoes turned out! I bought the shoes off Vinted (£4!) and added the trim and a pure silk bow, along with some grip for the soles so I don't slide everywhere.
