The Department freely admits in these docs that compliance punishments hurt welfare recipients' chances of finding work - then chose to enact harsher punishments against them.

Because that's the whole point of employment services - they can't play dumb on that intent anymore

You may recall that the Albanese govt rammed through laws to shield the salmon industry earlier this year- against all scientific advice and without consultation.
This is on them too.
Our laws were in danger of doing what they were supposed to do - so they were changed
While all eyes were on the budget, the Albanese government gutted Australia's environmental laws. The changes are great for the salmon industry, but terrible for endangered species and Australia's dem...

- they're happy with LNP higher ed policy, or
- they are far more interested in just holding power than doing anything useful with it. #auspol

Interesting thread, suggesting that Trump will be the one who is sacrificed. It makes sense, given the tsunami of damning evidence about to break over hundreds of billionaires and power-brokers.

It was only a matter of time before Trump became more a liability than a useful idiot.
Someone is going to have to take the fall for this though, and its going to need to be someone big enough that everyone stops dusting off their pitchforks.
