Crypto currency is a scam, a bubble and a vehicle for crime and any profit made on bitcoin relies entirely on tricking someone into buying it. That's why they act like a cult, to make money they need to convince YOU it will keep going up in value. Some coins are obvious scams but they are ALL scams.
If you need me, tap me on the shoulder. I’ll be happily working all day listening to this on a loop.

No one knows or writes about Labor Party history quite like Guy Rundle. Here he is on Graham Richardson.

Great read, covering his early life, his criminality and his role in Labor's factional machinations.

The Arts do more than make money, they tell us who we are.

They’re an investment in culture, community, critical thinking and social cohesion. They shine a light on what it means to be human. ❤️ Maybe that’s why authoritarians hate the arts"

Australia needs to be less afraid of people seeking asylum, and more afraid of the foreigners wanting to dig up our resources for free.

Dear ABC radio, please have somebody with more expertise than me explain to you why “renewables are the cheapest form of power” and “power prices have gone up in the last years in spite of increased renewables” are not contradictory statements. And why slowing renewables will not bring prices down.

The Faragists, backed by Gina, are about to trigger a full blast Australian fear campaign on net zero target and “mass” migration. Resolve polling indicates electors remain undecided on these political pressure points.

Good on the Guardian for this. I'm astonished at how many journalists at other organisations don't seem to know this or think that it's important to mention. Coalition politicians keep claiming it's net zero causing rising costs without any pushback

This is a good lesson for Australia. If you can't do anything in a 3 year term, you can't do it in 4, or apparently 5. The problem is not the term length, the problem is the culture and incompetence of the politics of the people who rise to the top in our parties.

The Eagles have a waiting list to become a member. As Stated, as a long time supporter of a Tassie team, I don't believe a Stadium should have been a condition. Look how the AFL let's Clubs play games around Aus now EG Ballarat in Vic. I think the Eagles played a home game in Busselton this year.

I don't follow AFL. A team, no team, doesn't matter to me. I don't buy into the arguments that a stadium will keep young Tasmanians in the state or that it will solve Tasmania's economic woes. I have lived here 28 years, and there's been no improvement in health or educational outcomes. #politas

I'll say. You'd think that in 50 years in a country this size there'd've been at least *one* other candidate to come through, wouldn't you. OTOH Whitlam set a very high bar - a courageous and visionary man.

Appalling! Oh no! Poor company but..

Owes State Gov big taxes, owes contractors & suppliers "many millions", poor environmental protection compliance. But local mayor ‘mining, backbone of community’ (unless you’re a contractor, supplier, gov or environment)

Gold mine 'appalled and astonished' after government shuts it down
The state government has directed Hellyer Gold Mines to cease operations at its mine in north-west Tasmania. It says the company has significantly fallen behind on its debts.

What on earth makes the Tasmanian government think they can deliver a $1B plus stadium on time and on budget? The state's track record on infrastructure projects is diabolical. Look at the ferries fiasco. Can't even deliver a transport ticketing system without making a meal of it. #politas

No Labor govt since has dared to have a suite of policies as progressive.

That was one of the most damaging consequences of that atrocious act, and it is unforgivable.

I still maintain my rage.
