Y’all gotta realise that Nazis (neo or otherwise) cannot protest anything. Their entire ethos rejects the notion of protest, public demonstration or anything remotely resembling widespread exercise of freedom of speech. It is philosophically impossible to protest.

Nazis hold hate rallies.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Utterly incoherent tosh from the #ukpolitics Home Secretary, decrying a situation of her own Government’s making. Worse still, inadvertently highlights limitations of social housing policy - work to improve that rather than punishing refugees.

If you want an idea of how media narratives can directly undermine efforts to combat abuse, look no further than this news story. Trivial already, compared to the increasing allegations that POTUS is a prolific child sexual abuser, this story is utterly irrelevant.

Abusers & their apologists are always an active barrier to justice & safety for victims. Trauma can be weaponised and frequently is. If a victim lies about their abuse, it will be to deny the abuse occurred when in fact it did.
To be very clear, Virginia Giuffre was made to say she mistakenly identified Alan Dershowitz as one of the people who sexually abused her. Here is the proof from this week's Epstein files dropped by the House Oversight Committee.

Hahaha I know we should be taking these fascist clowns seriously, even if we don’t live in the same country, but what the hell is this?
Yikes 😬 an official U.S. government account just referred to Americans as “imbecilic morons.” That’s… a choice.

$79 million over 34 years averages about $2.3 million a year.

In 2023 alone, McDonalds made $253 million profit after tax.

According to the National Obesity Strategy, obesity cost Australia $11.8 billion in 2018.

Not sure how the law rolls in the US these days, but in #politas, where sexual abuse laws and consent are concerned, there is no difference. Also, coercion is a thing. Also also, gross.
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

If your favourite anything is on a list like this, they were never yours to begin with. Your entire reasoning was based on a facade. If you didn’t know, or (genuinely) misread warning signs, you might feel angry, guilty, shameful, but you are not bound to a falsehood.
"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did? Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.

I’ll admit, this headline is an imaginative take on powerful (mainly white I’m guessing) men using influence & money, while exploiting ingrained welfare failures in areas like housing & healthcare, to target children for sexual abuse & facing very few repercussions.

Also, fuck you @nytimes.com
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

The beauty of this is that, depending on being cabinet in confidence or not, some of this guidance won’t be publicly accessible. So the public won’t know to what extent cabinet decisions are influenced by AI or not. #auspol
In contrast to the International Criminal Court ditching Microsoft Office, Australian government wants "to see AI “widely taken up across government in every department” & is considering "AI for cabinet submissions"

Culpable stupidity on top of negligent incompetence

Similar nonsense in Australia. Be really good for #auspol journos to ask immediate follow-up questions to statements like this, such as:
If we removed the X number of immigrants, how much would house prices fall?
What would be the impact on the economy be of removing so many skilled workers?
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.
