Back in the Autumn, No.10 blocked the publication of a report into the risks the UK could face if climate change causes ecosystems around the world to collapse. On Tuesday, after an FOI request, it published the report. But it turns out, that wasn't the full version. www.thetimes.com/uk/environme...

The government’s delay in publishing its national security assessment on biodiversity loss & ecosystem collapse is inexcusable. Much of the content is already out of date.
The science/evidence, national security implications & solutions are clear. There's absolutely no justification to delay action.

The heavily redacted UK national security assessment "Global Biodiversity Loss, Ecosystem Collapse and National Security" is an eye opener, even when you know what's coming... more shocking is that the govt buried the full report!!

Hands up all those who believe the American authorities can impartially investigate their own wrong-doing?

Merz on Minnesota: I assume that the American authorities will now really clarify whether it was necessary to shoot here, whether there really was a threat to the officers involved. In any case, I have to say I find this level of use of violence in the USA worrying, to put it that way.

Pollster: 58% of Americans say Trump's second term has been a failure. A year into term number two, Trump's numbers look worse than any other president. Trump is even worse than George W. Bush after Katrina and a long period in the Iraq War. This is really, really bad.
