Drove through this the other day and it’s fantastic. That crosswalk went from probably the unsafest to the safest downtown.
New traffic signals are now active at the Barrington Street crosswalk in front of Scotia Square. Push the button, wait for the light, look both ways and cross safely. The new lights enhance pedestrian safety, improve traffic flow and help people get where they’re going.

Just coming out of the woods and feeling brave enough to scroll the Blue Jays fallout… still too soon.
I am used to this though. I never got over The Oilers losing game 7 in 2006. It still stings, and so will this for a long time.

As a Nova Scotian, watching that moment, in a Halifax bar, FULL of Jays fans, I can tell you the atmosphere was dicey af. But what a moment when we all jumped up and cheered.

Cruise ship horns are going off on the Halifax harbour, and I keep thinking The Jays are hitting more dingers, even though they aren’t playing.
