Just reflexively oppositional, YOU NEGOTIATED THIS DEAL! If you'd not held the election when you did, Rishi would have signed it. YOU WERE IN THE FOREIGN OFFICE AT THE TIME.
This is (1) disgraceful at a moment of national danger, (2) laughably unserious and (3) deeply unwise when the President is obviously becoming incapacitated and the most unpopular person in the whole UK. Utterly disqualifying.

This is a huge problem: humans are not wired to cope with this daily torrent of disgust & dismay. It's exhausting & unbalancing.

It's tempting just to switch off the news. But that surrenders the political arena - & the lives of all those it affects - to the hooligans & vandals who are trashing it.
I'm perfectly aware this is by far not the worst thing he's done, but Trump's constant presence - day after day after day - in the lives and headspaces of hundreds of millions of people (billions?), in the US and outside, is so taxing. Every morning, we wake up and have to think about this asshole.

I would wager that the actual reason why no prior sitting president has apparently ever taken the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test, is that no prior president or VP since the test's creation in 1996 has ever engaged in behavior that is as suggestive of cognitive impairment as Trump has.
Trump again says his health is “PERFECT” and claims he “ACED” his third straight cognitive exam, a test given by doctors to detect signs of dementia

The family court system plays a vital role in tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) so we're calling for investment in, and reform of, the family justice system. Read this excellent write up of our new policy paper in the Guardian:

Bar Council calls for legal aid for all family court cases involving domestic abuse
Only 15% of families are eligible for legal aid which has led to huge swathes of UK becoming ‘legal advice deserts’, body says

Any industry eliminating entry level roles where new, younger employees learn on the job before promotion to more advanced, decision-making roles is sawing through the branch it's sitting on.

A Supreme Court Justice who rules that President Biden can’t forgive student loan debt without an act of Congress, and rules that President Trump and Not An Official Position Musk can cancel any Congressionally-enacted spending they personally dislike, that Justice clearly isn’t ruling based on law.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

In the first cross-national comparative study, we examine 32M tweets from politicians.

We find that misinformation is not a general condition: it is driven by populist radical right parties.
