The family court system plays a vital role in tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) so we're calling for investment in, and reform of, the family justice system. Read this excellent write up of our new policy paper in the Guardian:

Bar Council calls for legal aid for all family court cases involving domestic abuse
Only 15% of families are eligible for legal aid which has led to huge swathes of UK becoming ‘legal advice deserts’, body says

Any industry eliminating entry level roles where new, younger employees learn on the job before promotion to more advanced, decision-making roles is sawing through the branch it's sitting on.

Something is fundamentally wrong with America when millions of dollars can’t buy you a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat, the respect of your children, the silence of your baby mammas, or a functional penis implant.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Misinformation isn't random - it's strategic. 🧵

In the first cross-national comparative study, we examine 32M tweets from politicians.

We find that misinformation is not a general condition: it is driven by populist radical right parties.
