Buying a Ford F150 or Dodge Ram in Australia, especially in the cities, instantly anoints you a huge, gullible fuckwit. Death to all yank tanks.

I’d like journalists interviewing CEOs of companies investing in AI always ask this question so they can explain why they’re more valuable than the people doing the actual work.
The biggest cost saving implementation of Gen AI is to have it replace the board and CEO of most companies. The cost reduction would be much higher then laying off a few hundred employees.

Also a board makes decisions based on hard facts and numbers. There’s no artistry involved at all.

The very loosey goosey anime fansubs of the early 2000s would pull this kind of stunt all the time, and I remember them all fondly.
inframan is an incredible movie but nothing could have prepared me for the insane one-two punch of the subtitler going completely rogue followed by an extremely funny boat shot

Shout out to the guy dressed as Pinocchio (??) at the cricket today, who just got a lingering slow motion highlight on Fox Sports despite the gigantic, obvious dildo he’s used for the nose

Played a little Wildgate tonight. Really enjoyed the session, felt like Sea of Thieves in space, with more going on. Fun to skulk around, pouncing on unwary ships and looting everything in sight. Art direction has the old Blizzard juice, which doesn't surprise.

I love that this has fallen into Lance’s hands. I remember getting the pitch email and feeling shocked at how completely Xbox had cut the local branch off. Xbox ANZ’s highest profile activations went from building huge, functioning gamer hotels in Hyde Park to this in the space of 10 years.
I unboxed this on stream the other day but I gotta show youse this hideous Xbox I bought off a friend that he won in a competition. He sold it to me super cheap cause he had no interest in it. Amazing. My first Xbox Series X console lol

So very tired, but I couldn't let 2025 end without taking stock of Microsoft's embarrassing treatment of gaming, Windows, and indeed human beings while it chases the AI money train
Microsoft's year of shame
Can't make a few trillion dollars without ditching game developers, going googoo gaga for AI and supplying tech to the military, I suppose!
