I've heard others say it and I'm really feeling it too. We should definitely embrace the American flag as part of the resistance to fascism and the authoritarian government. It must stand as a symbol of decency and democracy, not what the GOP is trying to rebrand it as.

As a wimp who is hating that tonight will dip a few degrees below zero, watching Minneapolitans out protesting in the ice and snow is really something. It’s horrible this is happening when it’s the government terrorizing its citizens just to be bullies. I hope it ends soon.

There are many great voices out there, and we can find them everywhere, if we take the time to listen. There are legislators, judges, pundits, members of congress, military, media personalities, all with great passion and direction. The problem seems to be a lack of organized leadership.

when I was a kid, my parents told me if I was getting kidnapped I should yell RAPE to get help as quick as possible. Maybe it works, I thankfully can't attest. But I do think we should start yelling it when these frozen kidnappers come to the block.
