they aren’t saying mail-in is unsafe for VOTERS. they’re saying it’s unsafe for the SYSTEM, ie people who mail in ballots aren’t monitored closely enough to ensure they’re eligible to vote. (& they’re only saying THAT bc mail-in ballots are used more by Ds than Rs; they’d be fine with ineligible Rs)
