I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

The CIA, an institution famous for having zero historical record of abusing or mistreating prisoners.
After months of reviewing candidates, a federal judge overseeing Rikers Island announced the appointment of Nicholas Deml, a former CIA officer, as the “remediation manager” who will have sweeping powers to enact reforms at the jail complex.

Hearing this language from elected Dems is like seeing your most troubled math student (the one who grinds through basic equations over and over again for weeks only to implode every time) suddenly scribble out and solve a problem using the quadratic equation through pure muscle memory.
Chris Murphy says DHS reforms must be legislative and Democrats won’t accept admin-level stuff. “There’s nothing the administration can promise us that will do the job… They can't be trusted to keep to their promises. So we need to change the DHS bill and build reforms into the language of the bill”

"Our brave heroes are fighting to save the country from illiberal woke word-policing. And if you insist on calling them Gestapo instead of their preferred pronouns (him, herr) we are going to fucking murder everybody!"
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

The bravery and solidarity Minnesotans have shown in the face of this horror is truly inspiring.

If we ever make it out of this toxic waste fire, there should be a monument in DC to the service Twin Cities residents have performed for their country.

I haven't been back from Texas for 24 hours, and there's 3 new reminders why we shouldn't fund DHS without reforms to force them to obey the law.

1. The arrest of little Liam Ramos
2. More brutal treatment of protesters in Minnesota
3. ICE claiming the power to enter our homes

These jokers are always like "NATO costs us waaay too much."

Then Trump asks to boost defense spendint to $1trn. And the same dudes say "If Dems don't support this they hate the troops, and the country."
NEWSMAX: If we take Greenland, can we get out of NATO and stop paying $50 billion a year?

REP. RANDY FINE: NATO needs the US a lot more than the US needs NATO. Greenland should be part of the United States.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

Democrats are unveiling a new housing agenda to tackle the housing affordability crisis:

—The median price of a home has increased 55% since COVID
—Rent prices are up more than 30%
—The median age of a 1st-time homebuyer is 40
—America is short millions of homes—increasing costs

Around 100 protesters are gathered across from the facility. Some vehicles with masked agents inside have been periodically arriving.

DHS agents just gave another warning to stay out of the road and driveway, called out press as well.

The first Trump administration culminated in a months-long police riot. And the 2nd go has picked up exactly where they left off.
We must stress: The only violence is coming from CBP/ICE. They are rioting in the face of sustained nonviolent protests by thousands of Americans across the country.

They are today’s Alabama State Troopers at the Selma bridge. They are Bull Connor’s police with firehoses in Birmingham.
