we should bring back the thing 30s movies did where scenes kind of just end and fade to black or crossfade into the next one. no more hard cuts, they are too much of a shock to the delicate temperament of the modern moviegoer

Won pub trivia for my team at work today because I knew the tiebreaker question was a trick question.
My colleagues rejoiced. "How did you KNOW that???"
"I can't remember," I demured.
But I can in fact remember: I just didn't wanna tell them I read it in a One Direction fanfiction in 2013. 🤡
