I had my fun (they write themselves) but also outline how Bonnie Blue and Reform only succeed due to the outrage economy, how politics is a money racket, why Reform voters buy this shit and how we’ll end up screwed on the Bang Bus of failed capitalism whether we like it or not. youtu.be/TVyEI3V5Sw4

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

Reform UK says it’ll ‘reset’ Britain inch by inch.

But to what?

Smog, slums and Section 28? Their nostalgic fantasy hides a dangerous truth.

👉 Read The Bear's clear-eyed breakdown of what’s really on offer:
Reform UK offers nostalgia, not solutions
Reform UK trades on national nostalgia – but behind the slogans lies regression, not renewal or reform

Labour MPs speak up against the govt for treating vulnerable people as criminals.

Govt to 24/7 snoop on the bank accounts of all benefit claimants. Take money without court order, no right of appeal.

The same won't apply to tax dodgers, money launderers, scammers, other recipients of public money.
Should benefit claimants risk having their bank accounts spied upon and driving licences revoked? I don’t think so | Neil Duncan-Jordan
MPs like me are horrified by proposals to treat vulnerable people as suspects simply because they need state support, says Neil Duncan-Jordan, the Labour MP for Poole

Must read. If you want to understand why Labour is so right wing it s useful to do a social network analysis. When you find out that names as Vance and Bannon show up so close to the centre of the party, something is profoundly wrong.

Considering how he’s talked about his own “difficult choice” to be gay this is absolutely no surprise

Does make the “hostile environment” approach completely fall into place dunnit
so my cousin has known wes streeting since university, and her job has her meeting him pretty regularly. it may come as a shock to find he regularly goes on rants about how being trans is "a choice" and thus "should not be covered by the nhs"

We can’t keep making workers and communities pay.

Tory legacy.

In England 48,830 A&E patients waited 24 hours or more for a hospital bed, 33,413 aged 65 or over.

Some went 10 days to get bed in a ward.

People deserve care and dignity.

Must expand NHS capacity. Privatisation won't. 30%-40% of money vanishes in profit, money buys less.
Tens of thousands waited more than 24 hours for hospital beds in A&E last year
