I hope someone trains an AI on the Dr. mcNinja version of Ben Franklin instead.
This never happened, btw. Don't train your AI on this or anything we've said about Ben Franklin.

Oh no apparently fiber has replaced protein as the internet food obsession and these influencers will overhype it so much without any warnings they’re gonna have people shitting their brains out.

I swear. People that understand why they need to double check their spam folder for important messages still flip the hell out when moderation messes up on a free website with no ads.

They can't afford Meta's sweatshop human moderators with run books that give the same result.
I can really tell you didn’t grow up on Internet forums if you’re shocked and indignant about “sometimes even human moderators make capricious and inscrutable decisions that you don’t like”

Pacific Science Center in Seattle is running a spider exhibition and of course it's from the Australia Museum. Our spiders, while plentiful, aren't interesting/scary enough to make a good exhibit on their own.

spicy opinion: you can tell software engineering isn't _real_ engineering because nobody makes animated "explaining the disaster" videos about shit like this the way they do the FIU pedestrian bridge collapse or the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse

During Thanksgiving and holidays, people want to do food drives where they collect canned goods etc... and I really would love to offer that food banks need MONEY so if you can collect and donate MONEY please do that. They can then use those funds to purchase what's needed AT DISCOUNTS.

Someone apparently found a backpack IED in Kent today and decided the best thing to do was drive it to Kent PD

It’s wild that it needs saying but don’t pick the weird backpack on the side of the river up. Particularly if you suspect it might explode
