I'm from central Ukraine, very much in the heart of the Pale. My wife and I often take trips around the oblast to look at sights, and I will often plan our itinerary around Jewish site - usually cemeteries, which are often the last sign of Jewish existence in these rural towns and villages.
people's names are of course exactly what they say they are but i think it really depressing that the specific emancipation deal that soviet communism offered ukrainian jews all but openly painted their jewishness as reactionary

I am pleased to inform you that I'm seeing more and more South American accounts mentioning Andinia in the context of "do you know that's a freaking Nazi thing" and "do you realize how stupid you sound"
If you search "Patagonia" or "Andinia" on Bluesky, you wonder how many South American accounts here *aren't* up to their ears in Nazism (I know there are, fear not, I've seen them try to pushback with reason and with scorn, but seriously?)

Absolutely undeniable. The main Jewish "privilege" is that it's the only prejudice that opinion leaders are still required to pretend to care about, though that's eroding pretty fast.
The real blackpill is that social media made all forms of bigotry, including antisemitism, extremely abundant in public spaces over the last 3 years but antisemitism is the only taboo opinion for a large swathe of elite opinion leaders
This is the end of the way the discourse on antisemitism on right and left in American politics has become a partisan signifier, detached of any underlying meaning. "Left-wing antisemitism" is just assumed to be something used to attack the left, detached from any actual underlying substance.
