Effectively there is no *one* person performing the duties of President of the United States right now. We are in an interregnum with an occupied throne.
The fundamental thing to understand about this administration is the president is a grumpy retiree. He has no interest in working anymore. Which leads to him being pissed that he is getting asked a question, pissed he has to show up and work, the scheming viziers running the show, etc..

So, if I'm following correctly (and freaking channel 14 agrees with this, they happened to have the easiest timeline to follow), the IDF invaded a town outside their new buffer zone to attack someone who they fear might infiltrate the buffer zone of the buffer zone

According to local Syrian media, the IDF which occupies all of Palestine, much of southern Lebanon, and huge swathes of southwestern Syria, attempted to arrest a Syrian civilian tonight in Beit Jinn but was met with resistance from the locals, and in turn the IDF killed two people via airstrike.
Deleted last post because the battle in Beit Jinn is apparently still ongoing
