Skip those baggy blue procedural masks and get yourself a bundle of proper n95 respirator masks from @canadastrong.bsky.social for use in indoor shared public spaces.
Worst case scenario? You'll inhale less aspirated saliva.

"Hey, what's up with the mask?"
Even if we were in some kinda magical universe where wee chompy gnomes with razor-sharp teeth gnawed all the viruses off of aspirated saliva as it flew out our mouths and noses, I *STILL* would prefer not to inhale strangers' hot flying spit.

Welcome to winter… the season where pedestrians in #OttCity really know where they stand; glad we prioritize walkable hoods and accessible spaces to help support #SmallBiz on traditional main streets. (Image doesn’t show but this is. 15cm deep lake of sludge in the crosswalk)

A little family history and important to remember that It wasn't until 1947, after the war ended, that Canada’s Chinese Exclusion Act (1923) was abolished. Until that time, Chinese Canadians were marginalized and not allowed to vote.

It’s a predictable pattern. Suburban and rural (mainly) voted to spend more, get less, align themselves with private interest to fund a project that doesn’t affect them, delivering lower value at the expense of urban quality of life and wrecking women’s pro hockey in the capital.

Heads up #OttCity: up to 10 cm of snow is in the forecast for Sunday, November 9. Our crews will be out and about treating sidewalks, roads and the winter cycling network where needed. Please use caution when you’re out and about.

@mayormarksutcliffe.bsky.social and his suburban lackeys have saddled us with generations of debt for something much worse than we have today 🤡
OSEG must be pleased they held their expensive fundraisers for Sutcliffe, they paid off. I'm sure they'll reward him in the next election cycle as well
