The sidewalks under the Bank Street 417 underpass seem to be a magnet for random pedestrian obstacles. First it was the two seemingly permanent traffic cones on the western side (also pictured here) and now it’s a portable toilet on the eastern side.

No points for guessing why it will be no seating/takeout only. Is a takeout only establishment still required to provide washrooms for customers?

Somehow fitting that the Canadian Premier League ⚽️ final between Ottawa and Calgary at TD Place today will kickoff during the first ❄️ of the season. I hope someone brought the orange ball - it’ll be an even more challenging game without it!

Ontario property assessments haven't been done since 2016 and it's getting ridiculous. Suburban homes are paying much lower property taxes than they should be.

Annual property taxes:
↙️ $8575 | $6360 ↘️

It’s one day in what has been a very dark year south of the border. There were some signs of hope tonight in US elections but honestly, who knows what comes next.
Going to be keeping a close eye on this one tonight. Polls close at 9:00 p.m.

if you’re a cyclist or pedestrian I’m gonna strongly recommend avoiding the Laurier/Elgin intersection. The traffic cone placement through the construction zone is bananas.
