Glad the Pavilion is going to get some much needed repairs but hoping there’s still a way to keep 613flea at Landsdowne (I was just there today).

The Aberdeen Pavilion is due for major restoration work which will require the venue to close for two years, forcing events typically hosted in the space to find a new home in the meantime.

Like clockwork around this time of year, the days start getting longer, the sun starts getting brighter, the temps start getting warmer, and the fitness stats which have been in the gutter over the past few weeks start tracking up again.

If only he'd show the same amount of interest in Ottawa's urban communities, listening to the unique needs of urban residents but we're not going to vote for him so he doesn't care.
Throughout my career as a broadcaster, and now as Mayor, I’ve spent a lot of time in Ottawa’s rural communities, listening to the unique needs of rural residents. I joined the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee meeting to move forward on the actions arising from the successful Rural Summit.

Centretown and the Byward Market will be revitalized only when the derelict buildings and surface parking lots are developed and turned into places where people can affordably live. It’s 2026 - a business model predicated on people visiting Mon-Fri 9-5 to buy sandwiches at lunch is dead on arrival.
