It was wonderful to kick off the holiday season at the Glen Cairn community’s 11th annual Christmas Tree Lighting - the first tree lighting of the season! This event is such a special tradition, bringing neighbours together to celebrate with warm hot chocolate and homemade cookies.

It was an honour to visit the Kanata Legion for their annual Remembrance Day lunch with Councillors Cathy Curry and Allan Hubley, and MP Jenna Sudds. It’s been a meaningful day, and I’m grateful to share it with such amazing people who care deeply about our veterans and our community.
