Yesterday on the way home from a long city council meeting, I saw that my bus wasn’t going to come for 40(!) min, so I walked. Not everyone has that option.
I believe that you deserve compensation for being left out in the cold. And we need every option on the table to get OC Transpo moving again.

There can be some gatekeeping in the cycling community so just remember that when it comes to biking there are only two rules: Wear what you want. Ride what you want and don't let anyone tell you differently

If you have to stop quickly, that block of snow is going to slide and obstruct your windshield and put you and anyone around you in danger. Your windshield wipers will also likely break in your futile attempt to remedy a situation you caused.
Also clean off your car and if you can't do it yourself, ask a neighbor, friend, or coworker. There is no excuse for driving with an obstructed view or a giant block of snow on your roof.

Heads up, a Winter Weather Parking Ban will come into effect today from 10 am until 7 pm. During this time, all vehicles must be removed from the roadway - unless you have an eligible parking permit or are parking in exempted commercial main streets.
