Final update tonight. Andrew Denton is also out. Have also crossed out Michael Veitch & Tracey Lee Holmes as they were part of Better Off Said, which is out.

Remember the list is a not final. Don't assume those not crossed out are going

The Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Act 2025 empowers the state to 24/7 snoop on the bank accounts of recipients of universal credit; employment and support allowance; state pension credit.

The ALP need to realise they will be criticised whatever they do, so how about do things that are good? And do things to please those who voted for you not those who never will.
The AFR run a 2 year campaign to get the ALP to weaken the changes to super tax concessions to make it easier to avoid paying the tax.

The ALP does it.

The AFR criticises the ALP for weakening the policy because people can avoid paying the tax.

I'm not a lawyer, but it is interesting that none of the claims made by PCT Global appear to be made under intellectual property law, but rather "misleading and deceptive conduct" under consumer protection laws.

I'd be fascinated to see the statement of claim.

Minister Katy Gallagher's statement about the fed govt's new "AI Plan" was probably AI generated.

- parallel sentence structure (it's not x. it's y)
- three part list with ", and" against APS style guide
- that first full stop was almost definitely an em dash.

What will KatyGPT come up with next?

There is something really wrong with people who need workers to be not just competent, but slavishly fake-happy. "Slavishly" used on purpose, bc that's where this grotesquerie comes from.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
