It’s pretty clear by now that animal intelligence far surpasses that of humans.
Yesterday it was cows using tools, today its penguins using satellite imagery.

Remember the Soviet joke about a man who always goes to look at the papers but never buys one. The news agent asks him what he's looking for and he says, "An obituary" and the news agent points out that they're always in the back section. "This one won't be".

The Bayeux Tapestry is cool as hell. A 230 foot-long textile account of the Norman Conquest from the 11th C., with lots of fun details, including 626 people, 190 horses, 35 dogs, 32 ships, & 93 penises.

"Are there eels?" you ask. Of course there are eels! Let's take a look! 1/8

This is incredible news. I can't stress enough how amazing KJ Charles is as not only an author in her own right, but as a bringer of insight, guidance, and sheer editorial know-how. Writing advice from her is for sure going to be GOOD.

Heads up @shakespeare.lol , they could be coming for you.

But I bet I know what you'd say:
"a college of wit-crackers cannot flout me out of my humour."
Researchers and artists at Sorbonne University trained an artificial intelligence to emulate Molière's themes, structures and humor, producing a new play.
